ClickTouch is now an Infineon Preferred Design House

ClickTouch has been approached by Infineon to become a Preferred Design House (PDH). ClickTouch is the first PDH in Europe in the domain of “TrueTouch and PSOC”. There are only 13 PDH’s worldwide for all types of microcontrollers. The main goal for Infineon’s preferred design houses is to provide technical support and ensure that a premium service is delivered to customers. An overview of all the preferred design houses can be found on the website of Infineon.

A history of innovation at both ClickTouch and Infineon forms the ideal base for a solid partnership. As former platinum partner of Cypress, Clicktouch has gathered all the knowledge to assist customers with both development & manufacturing of touch systems. Both hardware and firmware are customized and tuned to the specific needs of the application. All this tuning is done in-house by engineers at the Clicktouch HQ in Belgium. Offering the combination of both software and hardware is a unique combination in the market and gives a strong competitive advantage.

The partnership with Infineon is a mile-stone in Clicktouch’s strategic development. Infineon focus’ is to involve their close partners actively in their strategic decisions. The direct involvement we have in projects of Infineon’s customers offers the great advantage for those customers that both the touch sensors and the microcontroller are perfectly matched. In addition, the controller software is 100% adapted to the user needs and operating conditions. In order to really get the most out of the customer-specific tuning, the “normal” parameterization is not sufficient. Thanks to the close partnership, we now have access to those deepest programming levels of the microcontrollers. This allows us to take customer support to a new level. This intense customer support is our most valued added value.
