    Capacitive Keys

    The ClickTouch capacitive key technology enables any type of detection through a non-conductive surface. The capacitive layers exists as a flexible polyester film in combination with an adhesive layer to be mounted on the front overlay (glass, acrylic, polycarbonate, …).

    Our capacitive keys can be produced in our different plants in Europe and in the Far East. We control the complete process from early design to the serial production.

    We have the capability to produce fully custom touch films. We can combine different touch detections (keys, slider, wheel, touch screen) all on the same sensor foil. With this solution we offer numerous design possibilities and this with a very simple construction and decoding.

    Backlighting

    Our own custom Polymer (P-dot), Fine Line Nano-silver (Carbon Nano Tube)  and ITO technique enables an easy upgrade to backlighted capacitive keyboards. In order to have an even and uniform lighting, we can implement diffusor techniques or light guides to provide the best possible solution. Our engineers will advise you the best solution for your creation.

    Secret unit lit

    The “secret until lit” technology enables a user friendly and intuitive interface, on top of that it provides your control a smooth, modern and sleek appearance. The lighted keys highlight the active buttons or zones for example. By using multicolour lighting it can also show the operation status.

    Backlighting is very appreciated in consumer oriented solutions but is also used in industries where swift reactions are needed, but also in industries, where interaction between machine and operator is required, this is often used.

    By using our own custom capacitive Polymer or ITO technique and special printing on the overlay, such as glass and various plastics you have complete freedom in your design.

    Complete solution

    ClickTouch is also able to offer the complete assembly of the capacitive film with the cover materials, carrier plates and mounting frames which can be produced and supplied by us.
