Clicktouch mainly offer complete solutions, from outline to end product. In order to create integrated solutions we can deliver the following products:

Membrane keyboards, resistive and capacitive touchscreens, capacitive keys and other capacitive solutions. We also offer related products and services such as support plates, glass, backlighting …

Our products offer a broad spectrum of solutions.

Resistive & Capacitive Touchscreens

The capacitive touchscreens has found their way to the general public, the technique is gradually being applied more widely. From navigation systems to applications for the medical industry and is now best known in the mobile world and household appliances. The first popular worldwide introduction of the capacitive technology has been made by the Iphone®.

What is CTS?

“Capacitive Touch Sensing” is a capacitive sensing (detection) technique that uses simple construction and decoding. The touchscreen has a special sensor film mounted behind a protective overlay (glass, Plexiglas, polycarbonate) unlike some other techniques (resistive, infrared, surface wave, etc.) where the sensor is at the front and is thus more vulnerable.Advantages for the use of these innovative touchscreens are robustness, diversity, durability, optical clarity and touch sensitivity.Because there are no moving parts, there is no wear risk. Moreover, the construction can be 100 % sealed and, therefore, your application will be resistant to dust, condensation, chemicals… CTS are easy to maintain, hygienic, and the product is also highly resistant to vandalism.

Clicktouch offers 2 technologies for projected capacitive touchscreens: self-capacitance and mutual capacitance. We manufacture the sensors in a unique way!

Self capacitance

The capacitive touchscreens are distinctive for gesture detection, which means that by using 2 fingers you can enlarge or reduce objects. Clearly, a very common application is the pinch-to-zoom gesture, which allows the user to zoom in or out by moving two fingers farther apart or closer together while touching the display. What’s more, the touchscreen is very stable and fast!

Mutual capacitance

When your application is not water sensitive, you can even work up to 10 fingers and make use of gestures. Also working with gloves is possible!
